Retail Shop
The basic definition of a retail shop is a business that sells from a fixed location, such as a department store, boutique, kiosk, or by mail. Because of this, the definition of a retail shop can still stretch over online shopping, in which case the product is simply shipped from the fixed location. In short, a retail shop is usually what one is referring to when one goes shopping for products, though many people might not be able to define “retail,” specifically.
Generally, the retail is the end of the supply chain, after a retailer has purchased products in larger quantities from the manufacturer, either directly or through a wholesaler. The retail shop then sells these products to the customer. Retail shop customers can be either individuals or businesses.
A retail shop can be on a residential street, on a shopping street, or in a mall. Additionally, online retail shops are available which allow the consumer to use the internet to access the product and have it shipped.
